Easter Monday-had all three children and their families for dinner- Icooked lamb dinner for ten-fab. We were all stuffed. Will have to go on a mission with aerobics and spin this week now after eating so much-still I'm only in work for one day this week. That is just bliss.I've had a lovely four days.

Joy and Ed have arrived safely in Scotland thank goodness.I was just a little bit worried when she texted to say it was snowing heavily.Bruce and Bonney are staying with Sarah and Ian for a few days.Sarah will love that.

Well its almost April.I cant believe how fast this year is going.Tomorrow Ruth is due to leave city walls.We're all going to miss her-shes been a fab meds manager.-a good friend to all of us-made our jobs so much easier.Just hope the new lady will be as helpfull.Thanks Ruth.

Went for lunch today with lynne-she took me to her cousins new cafe called Flavours by the old lock in Beeston.what a lovely couple of hours we spent.Its such a lovely spot.little ducks running about and the weather was warm.Would really recomend a visit.The staff are dog friendly and there are lots of great dog walks around the area.I was really impressed with the food too,very resonable,very tasty.

Baby Ruby came to visit today.how cute is she.

weekend-9th 10th jan 2010

Well Joy's back from Thailand now. So gd to have her home. Both her and Ed have had an amazing time.We had a welcome home tea for them both at Karens Sat.Gerry away so he rang us all.

Worked all day Sat. Had a lazy day Sunday.Stayed in bed,nipped over to tesco to get photos developed of xmas.Popped into Joys for a brew.

Kath and Chris came home to snow.Short week this week in work.Only 3 days.Cant wait.

christmas 2009

Well what a lovely christmas we've had tho we've all missed Joy and Ed.Today I went for a lovely crisp walk with Ali and Sami accross the fields in Christleton.The pond was semi frozen and it was so slippy.We met Barb with her mum.Also i bought a book Patrick Swayze.The Time Of My Life.Gerry is back at work tomorrow so it will keep me busy for a while.Dad is now settled in a lovely new home.The staff there are absolutley brilliant with him.Kath and chris are in Spain for ten days now so its all back to normal for us.Happy New Near to all.
